IOHK Ethiopia Haskell Course - Inspiring the Next Generation to Learn Haskell & Blockchain
19 Ethiopian and 4 Ugandans students graduated from the program held by Lars BrΓΌnjes, Director of Education, Polina Vinogradova, formal methods expert and Philip Wadler, Senior Research Fellow of IOHK. The course went over Haskell as well as Plutus and Marlowe, smart contract programming languages. This course was in conjunction with the memorandum of understanding (MOU) which IOHK signed with the Ethiopian government last May to train and hire junior software developers and use Cardano in its agriculture industry. We are very proud of the talented young women who joined the IOHK Haskell course and we look forward to following them on their journey as they become future business leaders and professionals in this space.
